I don't know where else to post this, so, sorry if it shouldn't be here. However, back from my weekend in London to attend AutismCon on Saturday, I have to congratulate all involved in demonstrating the vast amount of ability waiting to burst through the ubiquitious 'dis' that stands before all of us with a disability.
To each member of the AutismCon Committee - thank you for doing that for all of us. It was worth the effort each of you contributed. My personal favourite section was the poetry peformances by Katie Walters and Janine Booth - showing that being sensorially overwhelmed can have its positive side. Thank you.
A thank you, too, to Laura from the support team, who understood my fixation on making sure I didn't lose my coat. Well, it was cold outside!
