Hi,
I am new to here so please bear with me. I have a daughter who will be 8 in February and was diagnosed nearly two years ago with Autism and Speech and language difficulties. I have a teenage daughter also who isnt on the spectrum. I have so many worries and concerns but as school is looming and the anxiety begins to rise in our household, it is so upsetting to send her everyday. I am making this year a priority to network and try to meet parents with daughters of a similar age with similar needs. Does anyone know the best way to meet other parents? I have attended my first meeting for parents with children with Autisum but they all had boys! Any guidance where to start would be great.
