NEW YEAR AND THE MEDIA

 The media has just made me a bit down. The news is showing pictures of how amazing the new year is  and how sociable everybody is and how they'll all be celebrating the new year.Estimating a thousand pounds of money the government claims they don't have is being spent on too many fireworks. When other people need it.It's  Making me sad that i am isolated and will be spending new year with my animals. Seeing my dad for an hour this afternoon, he hates new year, parties, socialising, doing anything that doesn't involve staying at home and reading. My friends have children and so are busy with them and making their new year memorable, so am on my own.

  • Thank-u. good advice. The evening was better than i thought and i watched some good Dvd's. Spent quality time with my animals. Found some old indoor sparklers, though they were so old, they fizled out halfway through-but still fun. And new years day, i relished in the fact that i wasn't drunk and went to the local animal sanctary. so a new year of quality, rather than quantity and people causing me problems. hope you have a good start to the new year
