Has anyone any views about autism and online social networking?
I have looked into it a bit and it seems that most people with autism do not engage unless given some training. But I can't find any long term studies.
I also have a strong suspicion that those who do contribute on twitter and linked in (and maybe even this forum) are not a good cross section of those who are high functioning. Clearly if you have severe dyslexia as well, you will find it hard to engage with social media.
Does anyone have any views on this? I would be very interested to know.
