Guide to Problems and suggestions

Welcome to the Problems and suggestions topic.

Here we'd love to hear your feedback on the Community.

Is there anything you think would improve the service? Is there something missing you'd expect to see? Have you come across any problems or is something not working?

Whatever feedback you have, feel free to start a discussion here. We may not be able to do everything immediately but we'll respond with our views on your suggestions and help deal with problems.

If you are having problems creating or replying to discussions take a look at our help pages. If that doesn't resolve the issue please contact us.

  • Cheers AMO, Talis, as I said in a different discussion it's something that's common across nearly all forums so it would be a shame not to include here.

At the moment the issues are about managing the capacity to vet images, or check images once they've been used. We could rely on feedback after a message is posted but that wouldn't avoid images in profiles being inappropriate.

We're also using a single sign-on process, so the main website is holds your Community profile. This means allowing image uploads becomes more complicated as it requires technical work between different developers.

The size issue isn't too much of a problem but copyright issues may be - it's a risk that the internet tends to be ignored but may be raised within the NAS.

Over the next few days I'm going to put together a full list of the things we'd like to improve and add to the Community which people can comment on and add to but for now I hope it's at least reassuring that we're aware of the issue and are thinking of ways to address it Smile
