Cat food

I used to feed Whiskas dry food as you get 1.9KG for £6, but they went off it.

I switched to Purina One. You only get 750g for £6, but they love it. If you look at the ingedients, it's a third dried chicken.

I also feed them Purina Felix 'as good as it looks' wet food. They don't like the cheap stuff and try to bury it.

If I only feed them Purina wet food, their poop smells really bad. I don't get a smell with dry food. I clean their litters religiously, but when they are on wet only, I have to leave the room when they do their business. I also noticed that they pee too much on wet food and the litter gets exhausted quicker. 

What brand does your cat like?

  • I tried a dry food product from ALDI. They wouldn't touch it. Feeding them cheap food is very cruel. They know the difference.

    I strongly advise anyone keeping cats to aleast upgrade to Purina products if you can afford it.

    That nasty soya based cat food available for cheap isn't palatable for them. They'll eat it out of desperation if it was all that was offered.
