When did films become movies?
If y’all ever visit the Midwest - not sure why you would, though - there is an important social rule that you need to understand:
“No, yeah.” = Yes, definitely.
”Yeah, no.” = Absolutely not.
Also, avoid Chicago at all costs. Yeah, high crime rate is the usual reason people say steer clear, but in my opinion it is more a problem of Chicago having the most aggressive drivers on the planet. Interstate highways leading into Chicagoland are terrifying. Driving in that area is an easy “Yeah, no” from me.

I'll meet you and raise you. I worked in south Wales and had to master that "Yes, immediately" didn't mean "I'll stop what I'm doing and attend to it now" but "I'll do it when I've finished this".

Interesting.
The most frightening roads I have ever tried to cross on foot were in Italy and in particular Rome.
I remember being trapped in the middle of a many lane road where if I were Christian I would have prayed for my life.
There appear to be zero lanes and zero road rules and pedestrians appear to be invisible.
(Side note: Since the stories I write are always extremely dialogue heavy, I often have to stop myself from having characters say “Yeah, no” or “No, yeah” in order to hide my Midwestern influence lol)
