Is Autism brain damage

There’s a forum/ vlog on Facebook by a parent of a child who is Autistic., They have a mixture of people who comment some who are Autistic themselves, some who know someone who is Autistic and others who have no experience of Autism atall.  One person commented Autism is brain damage but I never thought it was, I thought it was the brain processing the world differently?

  • It's different for me as I actually have brain damage from a violent head injury when I was 14. I shouldn't be here [removed by mod] . I saw the same adult do the same to another child in the park we hanged out in after school and he has a speech impediment now.

    I guess I can't speak on this. Sorry, I bet this will get flagged :(
