Veganism

It's like a swear word to me. I've seen delicious TikTok videos of vegan food.

Animals are treated very badly for their meat. I've seen the videos. I would like to see a law where the animals are treated very well. They should all be able to free roam in fields. I don't mind if there is a huge price hike.

The welfare of the animals should come first. Yes, we are going to eat them, but they shouldn't be caged up all day. I've seen videos where the pigs can't move.

Is torture acceptable to keep prices down?

I was going to mention what the Koreans do to dogs in detail, but it will get this thread closed down fast. In a nutshell, they believe fear and adrenaline improves the flavour of the meat, so they beat them for days. What the hell guys?

All this torture needs to be shut down.

All of it.

There's nothing we can do about it.

It's so fd up.

We are their only voice. It's upsetting, but this thread will be reported and their voice will be silenced yet again.

Just awful.

Aminals are very sensitive and we should cater for this, even if they are being bred for their meat.

They deserve to be treated as living beings. If I could action this worldwide, the price of meat would sky rocket. I say good. If you can't afford to eat animals that are treated humanly, then go eat something else.

Rant over.

  • I agree that animals shouldn't be tortured and be allowed to free roam. The UK tends to be better than a lot of other countries for welfare practices but it isn't perfect by any means. There is supposed to be further legislation over the coming years to improve it more. Fingers crossed. I try to buy British as much as I can. Whilst not a guarantee of welfare standards, it's far more likely to be than some other countries.
