I was just looking for my glasses, but I was wearing them.

Have you exerienced weird events that suggest that you're getting old?

I sometimes go to the supermarket to buy a certain thing and end up buying other things, except for the item I went there for.

  • I’ve started looking at it from a different perspective, I don’t have the worry of dying young. Supermarkets also rely on people making impulse purchases. I very often go into my workshop for something and then can’t remember why I’m there. I realised that I’m not going senile as I’ve always done it, it’s just the amount of ‘traffic’ that’s in our heads.

    Yes, I put it down to all the knowledge built up over many years. I'm very good at quizzes these days but find it hard to remember things like going into another room only to have forgotten why.
