Earplug recommendations

I work in an open plan office and I appear to have a noise sensitivity issue when I'm there. I have a pair of Loop Quiet earplugs but I don't think they're working despite playing around with the sizes. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Some alternatives are noise cancelling headphones (some have a button that turns on a microphone I think, which enables normal hearing, called transparency). Also standard headphones and play white noise.

(Though large headphones can be a bit intimidating for others.)
