People on this forum know that I photograph anything that takes my fancy, as long as it's not illegal.

My latest craze is photography of bus stops.  This months collection.

City centre.

Main stop in a village.

Another main stop in small town, or can we call it a bus station.

Friendly village main stop with extra seating.

  • It's an interesting subject and a good idea taking different themes. I prefer the brick and pitched roof bus stops. They could be improved even more for customers, with a small book exchange and wider seats. Often people wait a very long time for buses, so why not make it a more enjoyable experience.

    You are correct, this is another angle of the bus shelter with enhanced seating.  It is at the village centre with an information board. Post box, and a free little library.

    It was in the local news a few years ago when someone left a notice in that library box, objecting to romantic novels, asking people to take such filth elsewhere,  such as Hebden Bridge.
