Any musicians here? If so, what do you play? Any instruments you would like to play? What genre of music do you like?

  • I played the Clarinet as a child, playing grade 6 to 8 pieces when I was 11 to 12 but didn't get past grade 5 as I hadn't backed up the playing with theory (I couldn't progress past grade 5 practical until I passed grade 5 theory).  I was playing in an orchestra and loved it.  When we moved house my interest in lessons waned.  There wasn't an orchestra I could get to at that age and I didn't see the point of playing alone.  Since my late awareness and diagnosis (a few weeks ago, I'm 47 now) I've been reflecting on which aspects of my life I was happy in etc etc and really want to get back into playing again.
