Johnny Marr plays/sells guitar

I was really pleased when I read that the famous and talented musician Johnny Marr was donating part of the proceeds of an auction at Christie's of his guitars, amplifiers, sales awards, etc to charity and even more thrilled when I saw that the charitable donation would be split 50:50 between the National Autistic Society and Guide Dogs.

The auction went very well and it's exciting to think of how NAS can plan how to use its share of the proceeds to help autistic people like us.

What difference does it make? Loads, mate, loads! Well done, Johnny.

  • Wow... thats a big chunk of money and yes a big thank you Johnny!!

It's quite uplifting to open this thread and wonder how many people will now know NAS exists and is here to help.

The money will definitely help support NAS mission for “a society that works for autistic people.”Blush
