So what's everyone's favourite console and games 

I'm a huge fan on the Wii and Mario Kart Wii is one he most reokatable games ever also mad world is such a  hidden gem these days

  • I have a Nintendo Switch Lite, I liked Animal Crossing for a couple of years but I've moved onto Dredge because I love navigating the boat and having little tasks to do.  Also I like Forza racing on my Xbox Forza Horizon 4, now Forza 5 in Mexico.  I also newly am trying out Red Dead Redemption 2 and I spent a while with Railway Empire but I always find myself drawn to Retro gaming.  I have a C64 Mini and have pre-ordered the C64 Handheld for next month!  I love the old Commodore 64 Games like Bruce Lee, Wizball, Bubble Bobble, but they're also making new ones which came with my C64 mini like A Pig Quest which is a good platform and puzzler.  I love platforms like Mario or Sonic the Hedgehog.  So Nintendo Switch, Xbox and C64 are my main ones currently.

    The c64 ultimate looks promsing bit only can it so fast boot loads from usb but also support orignal taoes and cartridges as well as the disk drive expansion 

    Its going to be a bit out my price range as is the spectrum next plus og games with cheap so I'll settle for things like the spectrum(thats the maxi version of the Vega) and the c64 mini wnd the evercade

    I've not tried the maxi version, but I think it has a working keyboard so you can do BASIC, which is amazing! I have heard of the Evercade too; I absolutely love the idea of the old tapes with all the packaging and booklets. It's so thrilling that they are still making things like that.
    With my original C64 mini, I downloaded a lot of games onto a USB to load anything that was free to download, which let me explore old favourites like Cauldron. I actually ended up getting rid of that mini because I got overwhelmed with clutter. However, I recently allowed myself to get the new C64 Mini Black edition instead, which comes pre-installed with newer games. It feels like the best of both worlds because it’s been upgraded, in a way! It set me back £59.99 from Smyths Toys, and I paid it over 3 months.
    The upcoming C64 handheld is going to be great for me because sometimes I cannot find the motivation to set up my whole system on its wheelie table. Having something handheld means I can just pick it up and play. I've pre-ordered it on Amazon for £107, blowing caution to the wind! I will have to forgo some other things next month to cover it, but I'm really looking forward to it.  Also, the Spectrum, I didn't have one growing up but my uncle would lend us his sometimes for a few weeks.  I remember loving Disco Dan and some other game that you had to write text instructions like go forward 5 paces - exploring some castle.  Wow they're so great.
