9/11 DOCUMENTARIES: this thread is by way of a memorial to the dead and with gratefulness to services and individuals who showed professionalism, many of whom lost their lives.

My other post was bogged down by political comment. PLEASE RESPECT THIS THREAD AS A MEMORIAL; offer virtual flowers, candles etc but only comment if it reflects the bravery and selflessness of those involved or empathy for the continued suffering. NO POLITICS PLEASE -there are other venues for such comment.

There are several documentaries covering events of 9/11 on this coming anniversery, with much unseen footage. Warning - some might find these distressing as they contain graphic content, testimony of survivors and angry reactions. However, as testament to human courage and resilience, I feel it important that those who can will watch. We ought to be thankful that many of us will never face such trauma. In this way, these documentaries can help us reconsider difficulties that, by comparison, can be put into proper scale and context.
