RIP Dolly Parton

I understand she's sort of a autistic nightmare with how outgoing and relentless she was through her life, but I love the reaction to her dead, all the music, talent, joy, laughing and charity work she did which people are grateful for. 

I was listening to some of her singing the week before she died too.

  • I didn’t realise how much she did for charity, she was also a very astute businesswoman, Elvis wanted to record “I will always love you”, Colonel Tom Parker said that Elvis would only record it if they owned  the rights to the song, Dolly refused and said they could pay to use it but not own it. Parker then prevented Elvis from recording it. She wouldn’t be bullied over her own music. I thought she was a good actress,  she was brilliant in “Steel Magnolias.”
