OK, at the risk of sounding boring and conventional, I've always liked ABBA. There's something about their songs and the way they harmonize that makes them one of the most popular bands in history. I've only ever been a casual music listener and never really followed a specific band. The thing is that there are many songs I really like but not necessarily other stuff that artist has put out. Being quite old, there are some Elvis songs and songs by others of that era I really like and I think every era has some classic tunes that stand the test of time. So, I guess you could say that my musical tastes are quote catholic. Never really been into rock and roll, etc.
Now if you're talking classical music, well, that's another thing - Mozart, Beethoven mainly.
ABBA are very, very good. They're very much before my time and not my kind of musical at all, but all four are very talented and could do a lot more genres than a casual listener would assume.

See, this is the trouble with me - I never buy albums - I just follow the popular tracks of the time, so I miss songs that aren't normally played on the radio or YouTube. But I've never been into music that much TBH because there are so many other things going on. Maybe if I'd had friends when younger they would have influenced me but I'm afraid I didn't and was left to please myself which is not entirely a good thing.
I daresay if I had had a girlfriend too, she might have well influenced my musical tastes but being a loner, that did not happen.

A lot of people won't have heard it as it's entirely out of the style ABBA usually had. It didn't get much radio play and with the band about to breakup there was little incentive for it to get any.
I love it so much though. Very human, very tender and stiffling. Agnetha is a scarily good vocalist even when delivering in a flat, conversational tone as well.
