That existential crisis when you finish something

Has anyone ever felt that? Like, when you've finished watching the entire series of a TV show, or beat a video game you were heavily invested in? That feeling of "Ok, so, what now?". Fееling lost and without direction after this one thing you used to look forward to in you spare time no longer gives you anything to look forward to.

Do you perhaps try to recapture what that thing gave you by looking for something similar? Or do you just go back and do it all over again>

  • Happens to me sometimes. It's very bittersweet.

One of my COVID projects was building a classic gaming arcade, so I've went back and revisited a lot of games I played growing up, including ones I never finished. I've had a great time, but always feel a bit sad at the end.

There's times I wish I could erase it from my memory and experience it for the first time again!
