That existential crisis when you finish something

Has anyone ever felt that? Like, when you've finished watching the entire series of a TV show, or beat a video game you were heavily invested in? That feeling of "Ok, so, what now?". Fееling lost and without direction after this one thing you used to look forward to in you spare time no longer gives you anything to look forward to.

Do you perhaps try to recapture what that thing gave you by looking for something similar? Or do you just go back and do it all over again>

  • I've experienced this, with favourite TV series or authors. I 'get over it' by re-reading the same books and re-watching programmes. But, over time, I also get tired of things that formerly interested or excited me. When programmes are reissued, I often don't watch them. But also I think that your interests change and you look for new things. As   writes, you learn more by widening your scope; but this doesn't mean giving up things you want to repeat.
