The joy of fixing things

So I learned to fix a ps2 blue disc issue many years ago by cleaning the lens and I also fixed a jammed Instax camera

Now I'm fixing a toy cash register from the 80s and it's so fun figuring out how it works. And why it's not working

So far I've figured out that when I finally manage to get the cash drawer to open using the button it's hard to shut the draw so. I did a. Full strip down to figure out why so now once the plastic cement fuses two parts that snapped I need to figure out how to reassemble yhe tabs and buttons so it all connects then it's figuring rhe actual first issue out

  • I completely understand, fixing things is my favourite past time. I think I purposely buy rubbish cars and motorbikes just so I can spend my time fixing them. The thought of a nice, new, reliable vehicle appeals to me but I soon get bored with it and need something to take apart.
