So I learned to fix a ps2 blue disc issue many years ago by cleaning the lens and I also fixed a jammed Instax camera 

Now I'm fixing a toy cash register from the 80s and it's so fun figuring out how it works. And why it's not working 

So far I've figured out that when I finally manage to get the cash drawer to open using the button it's hard to shut the draw so. I did a. Full strip down to figure out why so now once the plastic cement fuses two parts that snapped I need to figure out how to reassemble yhe tabs and buttons so it all connects then it's figuring rhe actual first issue out

  • I repair old pocket watches. On one, an American Waltham watch dating to 1901, I cleaned up the balance that was clogged up with old congealed oil, which was making the watch run very fast, repaired the mainspring, which had broken at the 'loose piece', then replaced the mainspring when it broke again.

    When my future wife was living in a shared house in London with three other young women, they were having a lot of trouble with the lock on the front door sticking. Not having any WD40 available, I just sprayed furniture polish into the lock. Furniture polish contains silicone which acts as a lubricant. The lock stopped sticking and they thought I was a genius.
