I think this might have been covered before, but .. I found some recipes for toast toppers, which are sadly no longer on sale. The nearest dish is Welsh rarebit but toast toppers have a nice spicy kick.

Have you any favourite retro dish - either stuff you can buy or ones that no longer exist? Does anyone remember Sainsbury's breakfast slices which were a long oblong tasting of bacon?

  • Not retro as such but I miss th Mrs Brown's kitchen range from Iceland 

    Although I've noticed things like burger with cheese. Or peppers inside don't seem to be sold anymore 

    Aztec choclate bars proper sized rime out bars 

    Rustlers Heats which were like Hot Dogs baked into the roll
