Which documentaries have you watched: subjects you normally wouldn't consider & docus that show people at their best?

I wanted a positive thread, as there've been so many unpleasant things happening lately.

I've been watching, 'Dover 24/7: Britain's Biggest Port'. It's fascinating. I'd no idea of the many different operations carried out there.

For positive docus I love, DIY SOS. This one is particularly heartwarming, with Gladiators helping to build a youth centre in a deprived area.

  • Not Just a Goof. It's an amazing documentary about how A Goofy Movie, despite being hated by critics, became the voice of a generation and a beloved classic that many people today see in a new light despite how badly it was received back when it first came out. It's a really inspiring doc.

  • My favourites over the years have been poundshop wars, saving pound stretcher and benefits Britain(although with that one you can tell they delibritly choice people to focus on who will come across as lazy to make all people on benefits look bad when rewlly most of the people have rwal issues so if you look at it through that lens)
