Im 42 and have just started the process of being assessed for autism.
I have never posted on anything like this before so just wanted to post here to say hi and hopefully make some friends. Im not really good at that as im no good at starting or carrying on conversations.
Hello and welcome! You'll find a lot of supportive people on here who don't 'socialize' in a narrow neuro-typical manner. I'm 73, so no longer have to make huge effort [at home or work] meeting people when I don't feel like it. You can aut-socialise here whenever you want - 24/7/365. You can 'chat' about anything and not feel inhibited - anything from cheese to archaeology; also share wories, likes, dislikes and daily activity. No one will judge you. Relax here develop the identity you want - and have fun
