Yesterday I had a few minutes spare before needing to meet a friend, so I thought I'd better get some breakdown cover for my car and this was the perfect thing to fill the time usefully. I duly signed up with the AA and told my Mum. She looked at me with a strange expression, then burst out laughing, for some reason she thought I'd joined Alcoholics Anonymous rather than the Automobile Association.
Sometimes you just couldn't make it up!
