  • To quote someone's message, first select/highlight the relevant text, and then use the Quote button that appears
  • To "mention" someone, type @ followed by the start of the forum name, and choose from the list; that person will get a notification of being mentioned

This forum gives me anxiety

When I post, I get a popup that I've made a post and get emailed that I posted!

It's like I'm in court or in a disciplinary hearing. "Anything you post can and will be used against you in the court of law!". OMG!

    I am sorry to hear how this has made you feel. The online community always welcomes feedback. If you would like to share your concern with the community manager you can email them at:  communitymanager@nas.org.uk 

    The Community Instructions page has some advice on how you can turn off notifications but I can see you have already had some really helpful guidance. Just in case you need any extra help I have copied the guide on how to change notifications below.

    To change notification settings: 

    1. Click your profile icon → Settings. 
    2. Go to the Notifications section. 
    3. Tick the boxes to choose how you want to be notified (email, live alerts, or both).
