Does anyone have experience of a probable autistic parent developing dementia? I can’t work out whether I should be trying to get a medical assessment when I’ve been told to look after myself and let 85yr parent look after themselves!

I was going to try and word it differently, but came up blank in the moment. And my (vegan) Magnum ice cream was melting!

That is a crisis 
My problem was my mother refusing medical care so I was trying to get advice about what to do.
She had a serious leg infection but that was only one instance.
There were others.
