I have not written a novel but I do have an ebook Kindle on Amazon in 3 countries. I have written a few google documents articles which can be downloaded for free. I have also have 3 public blogs on topics of interest and liked using them as a medium to express myself. I wrote an awareness article for one of these campaigns and it was 12,000 words approx. The Kindle ebook was just under 7,000 words. I don't think that I will write a standard book. I find it draining and for now I am happy with what I have done.
I do encourage blogs for people with interests. You don't have to be an expert in a subject. I have been using blogger regularly since 2010, but had one since 2002.
