9 minutes of thrilling footie - excellent watch, even for non sports lovers!!

BBC issued this 9 minute highlights' video of England v France. 10 goals! I urge you to watch, even if you are not a sports lover. France was a sporting team - unlike Argentina with their arguments, pushing and shirt-pulling. I loved it when French players helped English players to their feet, after accidental bad tackles.

  • It's a shame it wasn't the final. Today sees a supposed cup final to determine the worlds best team, a team who drew 0-0 with Cape Verde and a team who scraped by Cape Verde all while having copious VAR assistance in the entire tournament. I'd really love to say i've enjoyed this tournament but honestly I haven't. I've watched almost every world cup game from 2006 up until this one. I don't feel I've missed out on much.
