I know it's a kids programme but I like watching it
I enjoyed Trumpton and Camberwick Green some weeks ago. I can’t remember the name of the thread but there was a bit of a discussion about it.
I accused leveller61 of living in Trumpton (or was it Camberwick Green?) and things moved on from there.
The latest I've I watched was the ones with the fairies!
Scooby scooby doo where are you we've got some work to do!!!
I still watch some CBBC programmes on iPlayer! Plus dinner that looked interesting which weren't on when I was a kid
I don't recall watching magic roundabout but my parents said I did!
A lot of kid's programmes, especially during my childhood, were really deep and well written, and weren't afraid to explore darker themes either. Teen Titans, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Jake Long The American Dragon, Ben 10, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Astro Boy, gaaaah soooooo good!
I watched Bluey in the past (a few episodes). Thought it was very nice.
My favourite is Courage The Cowardly Dog.
I think it's popular among parents as a show you don't mind your kids watching on repeat, like Marianne72 says they still have appeal. My youngest was into it for a bit, but shortly after slipped into her pokémon phase and stopped watching, but I did enjoy it while it was on.
Kids programmes are really well made, entertaining, thoughtful and often funny. I still love watching things like Magic Roundabout, and reading The House at Pooh Corner.
It's so easy to watch and understand too
It's a pretty good show, I think it must have some cult status amongst older audiences!
