Not looking forward to extreme heat

It is just about reaching as hot as I can bear, towards the upper 20s. If we get extreme heat for a few days I get through it by thinking that it will be over soon. At the moment next week is predicted to be around 30 all week and often the prediction gets higher as it gets closer.

I like to be outside at least some of each day, but I am not sure there will be much that is bearable.

I am hoping they have got it wrong and it reduces sooner than Monday week.

  • According to the Met Office, there’s a 50% to 80% chance of light rain falling in my area between 3.00 a.m. and 9.00 p.m. on Sunday.Cloud rainSlight smile

Hope the weather doesn’t occur within the 20% to 50% chance of rain not falling.

  • No rain for me this weekend. It'll be 28 today.

It's going to be 30+ again next week by the looks of it.

But at least the nights are cooler.

  • I’m glad, at least, that you are getting a reprieve during the nights. You have had a very tough time.

My upstairs is still too hot although the temperature downstairs and outside has been very pleasant for a few days.

The odds of rain happening in my area on Sunday have changed within the last hour to 30% to 70%. I’m trying calculate if the new figures make it more or less likely that rain falls compared to the previous figures, given that the timescale for the odds of rain occurring has also changed.
