Good job the worlds not ended

Because we'd never know from the TV schedules that are dominated by football and no news. To me the 6pm news is sacrosanct as its one of those things that helps me regulate my day. Everything else goes out of the window for anything sporting and I effing hate it!

    Don’t fear the “end of the world.”

    Civilization is resilient. If the Roman and any other empire has taught us anything, it is that when one civilization passes, it makes way for a new one. If our current world system falls apart anytime soon, it might be rough for several generations, but humans always find a way to pick up the pieces and make something bigger and better.

    Earth is resilient, too. Even though we’re likely to irreversibly change climate in this generation, climate will eventually return to a new normal and humans will be able to adapt to that. This isn’t the first time humanity has survived an incredible change to our climate and it won’t be the last time. Just hopefully next time it won’t be so much our fault.

    And  is right, there is a definitive ending time to our solar system, but it’s not coming for billions of years. By then what is left of humanity will have changed into something different, probably even better. Who knows!
