Because we'd never know from the TV schedules that are dominated by football and no news. To me the 6pm news is sacrosanct as its one of those things that helps me regulate my day. Everything else goes out of the window for anything sporting and I effing hate it!

  • I always watch the news, online at least once a day online and then BBC, Channel 4 or 5. I think we ought to maintain interest in what fellow humans are doing. It might not be much but it's a kind of 'support' to so many people who are otherwise unheard and suffering. It also puts your own life into perspective.
