The World Cup - Or how Europe learned to stop worrying and Love Trump's America

The World Cup is producing a, surprising, win-win scenario. The Fans, from Across Europe, are enjoying America. And America enjoys the fans from Across Europe.

The tradition of Away Days, and long International Journeys, created the perfect opportunity for a, Good 'Ol, Road Trip. Footbal, Fans are sampling, and loving, Smalltown America. Something to think about, given how the Basketball Fans of the New York Knicks set fire to everything.

The Americans now realise that we're not all like our Political Class. And we realise just how misled we were about the US. This could well be a latter-day Jesse Owens Situation.

  • I’m almost completely ignorant of your reported change in cultural attitudes to Europeans. I have an aversion to football and football related news, so I have heard very little about it.

It all sounds good, apart from the Trump sport ruiner.

  • Fans, from Across Europe, are enjoying America. And America enjoys the fans from Across Europe.

Yes, it's very heart-warming seeing fans getting together instead of wreaking havoc. The Scots 'Army' with their bagpipe band is a great example. It just proves humans at their best can do a great deal of good for international relationships.

  • On the other hand, Trump recently ranted on Truth Social about how one of the American players got a red card and that it was a "calculated move" because "people wanna see America lose".

America may not be that bad, but it's current leader is as bad as they come. Guy can't even take an L to save himself
