I felt so very strange

I was in tesco earlier and as I was going to get a basket there were two people looking at each other and talking, then I realised that they were both on thier phones and were nothing to do with each other, but I still felt like I'd walked in on an intimate moment or into someones living room, I felt really discombobulated for a minute.

It still feels strange to me to see people walking around and apparently talking to themselves, thats the sort of thing that would of got you cated away to the happy tablet academy when I was young.

  • I have had times when I thought they were speaking to me if they have blue tooth. On the rare occasion I have had a call whilst out, if I get my phone out quick enough to answer, I can't usually hear them for the traffic around. That's if I don't hit the wrong button and cut them off. I don't understand people who walk along talking on them all the time. I mainly call from home.

    I have had neighbours who have to go in their garden to get a reception. At least my current neighbours mostly speak their native language. 

    There's also the speaker phone calls that make me think I am in the middle of a private conversation.

    One of the funniest things I have experienced is someone doing shopping and walking along the shelves telling the person what they can choose from. I think they were buying cutlery. That was with the original mobiles, so no screen to show them.
