bedroom... practical but cosy

how does one make their bedroom practical but cosy?

As I'm living with my parents my bedroom is where I keep all of my stuff etc. although it's practical it sometimes doesn't feel cosy, then sometimes it feels cosy but not practical

I don't want to spend money if possible - at least not a lot if I have to, to make it cosy and practical

my bedroom should be somewhere I can go to do things I enjoy and relax, but it should feel cosy

I'm not sure if my colour of my bedroom is right (at the moment light purple pinkie colour)

Any advice and tips and suggestions appreciated

Just need a practical cosy bedroom

  • Hey pinkchocoholic,

My bedroom is lilac, I like the softness of the colour. I have lots of fluffy cushions & a fluffy blanket, as well as a weighted blanket on my bed.

A few of the cushions are purple & I have a purple rug, loads of fairy lights & a sensory light which throws out different colour patterns, I can turn the speed up & down.

On the walls are some nice pictures & I have a few plants which I have on my chest of drawers & bedside cabinet(which is the practical side of my bedroom along with a wardrobe & chest).

Green & purple are my favourite colours, so I always feel happy & safe in my bedroom.

I get most of my stuff from charity shops though Amazon is good too.

    Enjoy creating your special place.
