bedroom... practical but cosy

how does one make their bedroom practical but cosy?

As I'm living with my parents my bedroom is where I keep all of my stuff etc. although it's practical it sometimes doesn't feel cosy, then sometimes it feels cosy but not practical

I don't want to spend money if possible - at least not a lot if I have to, to make it cosy and practical

my bedroom should be somewhere I can go to do things I enjoy and relax, but it should feel cosy

I'm not sure if my colour of my bedroom is right (at the moment light purple pinkie colour)

Any advice and tips and suggestions appreciated

Just need a practical cosy bedroom

  • If you need things like shelves, look out on sites like freecycle (not used but heard of it),  or gumtree for people getting rid of things for free or cheap. Or some towns have their own pass it on Facebook pages etc. You might need your parents help to pick things up? You can always paint them to your own colour scheme too.

  • Thank you, I've got furniture from IKEA and have organised best as I can,

I don't know if my colour scheme is working and unsure what colour scheme would work - recently saw two teenagers have their bedrooms redone, one get a simple cream colour and whilst it looked nice it seemed a little hospital hotel for me,  at the moment my furniture is white so not sure if this is a good colour
