Obsession with safety

My young son (8) has got an obsession with anything around safety Fire alarm,car ferry safety,anything really to do with safety.

Has anyone else got a child that has a obsession with safety or padlocks is the other big obsession.

Any help support would be very greatful

    nights of wonder, staring at endless stars

    when the future we seek is not in mars

    we roam , we pace, our restless thoughts trapped spinning on a hamsters wheel

    until we accept we are special, the very definiton of real

    we stand out , by being invisible, our logic, backwards sideways, never straight

    that is why our time will come, to stand up, we are brilliant, we are great.
