Obsession with safety

My young son (8) has got an obsession with anything around safety Fire alarm,car ferry safety,anything really to do with safety.

Has anyone else got a child that has a obsession with safety or padlocks is the other big obsession.

Any help support would be very greatful

    My son worrys about everything to do with safety today its been around swimming as he is going with school he thinks he is going to drown.School have been great and spent time with him and he has a thing about fire alams and when are they going to go off.He knows all about safety procedures on car ferrys and watches them over and over again and writes them out.

    Love him to bits but it is hard work
