Colour Matching

I make it easy these days by wearing olive/khaki for gardening, then black/back & white or grey/cream/blue for everything else. When I buy Tshirts and find one that fits nicely, I buy 3 in each colour. If you want to wear lots of colours in separates, you need a large wardrobe.

Isn't that what they call a capsule wardrobe Marianne? Where you have a few basic trouser, skirts and jackets/cardigans and a variety of different coloured shirts and blouses or tops along with scarves and other accessories to make an interesting but simple wardrobe.

I'm not sure! I've never been good at 'dressing.' When I find a T or top that fits ok, I get the 3 in each colour as above then wear them until they fall apart. As I get older, it doesn't worry me to wear 'the same' for days on end ie the same style/colour of top.

I found a Korean version of a Singer machine for £40 online about 10 years ago, and it's still going strong after a new motor and several minor repairs. This is cast iron so very heavy but it is robust and will take coat fabrics. It's worth looking on e-bay and such-like. The old machines are very strongly made.
