Notepads etc

I have lots of notepads that haven't been used

I have one that I write things on like if I get telephone appointments, to remember what was said (especially if it's to do with a service I'm currently using so I can keep a copy of what was agreed / talked about)

I have another one which I'm using to write poetry in  (it's a beautiful pink with a golden foiled butterfly on)

I have a A5 sketchpad brand new, which I'm going to use to draw / colour in when I go to my group on Mondays (they do different things like art, crafts, singing, knitting/sewing, jigsaws - only been once but looking forward to getting my drawing skills improved even if it's such a bit and I tried the singing which was okay, but not sure about)

Just wondering what other people do with notepads etc they have - or ideas for how to use notepads etc.

Sorry for rambling etc.

  • I have a notebook(s) for the dinners each week. I have the initials of the day down the side, then make a plan of what to have for each day of the week, and then based off this my husband makes his shopping list.  I also make a tiny note on the day if either child is having a packed lunch or a school meal, and if so what, so I don't accidentally plan something for dinner that is too similar to their lunch.

I will sometimes mix them around if say I've forgotten to take something out the freezer or if I need to switch for something easier due to low energy. If I do, I tend to update it with little arrows showing things being moved around so it is accurate. That way I can look back and not have things too often (and risk getting bored of it), and can make extra then freeze portions and give us a break between having the left overs (my husband isn't as keen on having things two days in a row).

Last year my mum got me a new one that said 'dinners on it', though I've not started using it yet.
