I’m melting. This hot weather is disgusting. Roll on Autumn. Summer solstice is next month…so in less than 4 weeks the nights will start to draw in again. How happy that makes me. What doesn’t make me happy though is that in just over 2 months time (August) the shops will start to bring in Christmas stock. B’ah!

  • My wife and I invested in an air conditioner a few years ago. I was a bit skeptical, it seemed quite expensive for something I thought we'd probably only use maybe five or six days each year. I'm so glad we bought one, it has made a huge difference to our lives. We're sitting in our lounge, it's warm but comfortable. I think AC is getting almost essential if you live anywhere in London or the South East. I can definitely recommend getting one if you can afford it.
