Ice Cream Makers

Has anyone got one, tried one, can make any recomendations for one?

I can no longer get vegan magnums, only one shop does them and they often run out and they don't restock them regualarly. So it seems if I want ice cream I'm going to have to make my own. All the local shops say they sell them on thier websites, but they lie, they don't, the staff have never heard of them.

Yes, I bought one last year and it's amazing. I make yoghurt in it too. This is a generic link to ice-cream makers [so hopefully moderators will not remove it!], but the one I bought was a Kumio from Amazon [I'm not making money from this!]. The Kumio has a built-in freezer so you just put ingredients in and off it goes. A bit noisy but does its job.

My daughter had one, she wanted a toy one when she was about 7 but I got her a real one instead. It came with recipes and it was a good price probably on Amazon. You bout the bowl in the freezer to get it super cold, then took it out when you wanted to make some ice cream, it attached to a spatula kind of electric whisk. It took a while to make each batch but it tasted delicious. I’m sorry I don’t remember the brand.
