H/f man here, I’m a keen fan of non league football. I live in SE Hants and at present I have a social commitment locally on Saturday evenings, so can only attend matches in the local area.
But a favourite team of mine was FC Romania who played in the London area. On the few occasions that I was able to visit, the people there were very friendly and welcoming. A year from now, my current Saturday evening social commitment looks set to move to Fridays, so I was hoping to make some trips to London to see FC Romania during the 2027/28 season.
Unfortunately, having lost the use of the ground they played on and been unable to find another, FC Romania folded just over a week ago. As well as being sad for the people at the club who were warm and friendly with me, I’m gutted at having had my plans for the 2027/28 season thwarted.
