RTC Clinical Partners Manchester

Hello all, just looking for some advice! I was referred for an Autism assessment on 14 April 2025- I decided to go through RTC and chose Clinical Partners due to their short waiting times. Twice now I have been told that my assessment has been 'paused' due to funding. However, I know plenty of people who have been assessed and diagnosed in the 13 month timeframe since I was referred. 

Has anyone else also had this experience? I am now accessing neuroaffirmative counselling as I am finding the unknown distressing.

  • Hey, that sounds difficult, I don't know much about the RTC system as I'm not in England, but I know waiting on the unkown is very hard.

    Can you start living as self-realised until you get yoru assessment? Some things like accomodations I don't think you don't need to wait for the assessment to ask for? 

    I do hope you hear soon from the, it's seems to random at the moment and can be very hard to cope with. Best wishes.
