Ever had a brain scan done that shows your autistic brain working differently (than other brains)? 

It would be useful to have an entry on autism.org.uk but is there one? Seems there isn't yet.

I'd be curious to find out in which cases the scan is radically different, for example.

And it probably varies for each individual, but along with some regularities as well.

(I don't mean so much for diagnosis, though.)

    You could pay to gave it done. There are various techniques. The main issue is what to do with the knowledge.

    What you are looking for is which areas are more or less active than typical under different conditions. So you want calm, stressed, emotional, scared, etc. then a database to compare them too.

    If you found your amygdala was more active, then what?

    If have a heightened threat response under certain conditions you want to modify your behaviour or the conditions. You can't easily change your brain. So you would do the same thing with or without the scan.
