I've just recently rekindled my love of Warhammer & Warhammer 40,000. I used to play it maybe nearly 40 years ago and I mentioned it at my assessment (which has got to have some significance even if I can't quite connect the dots up yet). I was getting too drawn into video gaming, particularly Valheim, and I wanted an alternative which didn't shut me off quite as much. I spotted a couple of Necromunda sets (a spin-off from the main game but using similar rules) in Cash Converters and then got a couple of the rulebooks on eBay.

I've built and primed the set of models and I've started painting one of them. My eyesight is obviously not as sharp as it was when I was 13 or 14, so the results are not quite as tidy as they could be! I do need to practice and get used to painting such small figures again, but it's absolutely loads of fun and I'm enjoying the learning process!

I used to do Warhammer and Blood Bowl right up until my eldest was born. The game was always a good laugh but making scenery and painting was so relaxing.
