Oh, yeah, another.
South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut
I'd love to mention some of my favourite of the brilliant lyrics in the film's songs, but it's pretty expletive I suppose I must ask the question... What would Brian Boitano do?
Perhaps he would... Blame Canada!
...sorry, I'll stop now.
Funny how certain songs just hook into your brain and stay there for years. I get that same mix of comfort and intensity from the shows I love, almost like they mark different chapters of my life. I’ve found it helps to make a little playlist of the tracks that hit hardest and play them on days when my head feels too loud. It kind of resets me and brings back good memories.
My sister used to let me share her headphones on the school bus and we'd listen to songs from musicals, particularly Dear Evan Hansen and Everybody's talking about Jamie.
I liked the Wicked films and Mamma Mia, too, but don't intend to see them in the theatre

Yeah, I think it was just the opportunity to see something/ anything at the time. It's not my taste either! I did appreciate the power of the singing at least!
Not one I ever fancied. Stephen Sondheim is an acquired taste!
I bet every time was amazing and different too!
When I was in school, our Advanced Higher English teacher (and her husband as he was an English teacher too), used to take our class on trips to see things, one was Sweeny Todd. A dark tale, but the power of the chorus could have knocked a wall over! (In a good impressive way).
I studied LM for my A level musi level project many years ago. I have seen it 12 times !!
I love Hamilton too- Haven't seen CFA but have heard songs from it on Elaine Paige

I'm not super knowledgeable on musicals, but I do love Les Misérables. My sister was big into it growing up, and my parents took her to see it (I wasn't bothered at the time). But they then got the cd sound track, and it was so powerful, it really drew me in and I ended up watching the dvd, as my sister would watch it often. I did get to see an amateur production of it when in uni, and that was incredible.
