I love drinking water I drink lots of it a day.
I do drink other drinks (a can of diet coke each Sunday lunchtime, 2-3 cups of decaf tea a day, max of 2 hot chocolates a week)
I really love the water when it's been in the fridge to get cold.

Yes, sticks of dynamite - what a wonderful description. I love licquorice, especially soft sweets.
Were sherbet fountains the ones that looked like a stick of dynamite, with a licquorice tube sticking out the top? Horrible things, I've never liked liquorice or sherbet for that matter.
Does anyone remember Cremola Foam? Or sherbert fountain? I'm trying not to buy it online because of the sugar but it brings memories of sweet-buying in childhood.
to me it's like drinking a bonfire
I love your description! It feels similar to my reaction to rooibos tea - although I'd never have managed to come up with such an evocative turn of phrase!
I tend to drink sparkling water or Ginger cordial (from Lidl), my wife claims that I'm developing an addiction to it. I stopped drinking alcohol last summer which admittedly has been difficult.
I drink black tea and very strong black coffee (not instant). I think something like a tall black tends to taste better (oddly). I had to stop for a while as ADHD meds don't play well will other stimulants.
I can’t remember the last time I drank water on its own, for me it’s Twinings breakfast tea in the mornings and then I make a flask of hot chocolate, I take it in my workshop and purposely have the radio on, the hourly news is a reminder to drink a cup every hour. If I don’t do this then I wouldn’t drink all day, it seems autism affects my sense of thirst, I’m never thirsty. If I’m out socially, which isn’t very often then I drink soda water and lime.
Tic Toc Rooibos tea - Tesco sell it. It's naturally decaffinated.
Found some blackcurrant cordial I made last summer and got 2 litres of that down me today. Will try something different tomorrow.
I mostly drink water too, though prefer it at room temperature. In the mornings I drink green tea, and in the evenings ginger or turmeric tea. And huel at lunch if that counts as a drink.
I might make some iced green tea with coconut water if the weather stays good over the coming week
I've tried it and to me it's like drinking a bonfire, but lot's of people love it.
red bush tea
I've not heard of this type before!
I love carbonated water with lime cordial and ice in Summer. Also, lots of red bush tea [decaffinated] and just one cup of coffee a day, often a cappuchino [made at home]. I also make ice lollies from the lime cordial.
I don't like coffee, I'm not sure why because when I was younger I liked it (then again my parents said when I was a baby / toddler I used to eat mushed up banana but now I can't stand banana)
sorry to hear that - have you considered maybe having mint tea once a week as a special treat? - that's what I do with diet coke, as I like it as well
I am currently going through a bit of a struggle because my only two drinks have been mint tea and water (of all temperatures)
However, it has recently become clear that the mint tea is an extreme reflux trigger for me. This is a known effect of mint tea, it relaxes the lower oesophageal sphincter which allows reflux to more easily exit the stomach.
That now gives me a conflict, in that in order to best care for my health, I need to decrease my already very restricted drinks list by half. I'm quite annoyed by this.
Well its a pot and a half, but others call it buckets.
I can't drink iced water, it makes my stomach cramp and I either throw up or I get loads of pain, sometimes both, I need it at room temperature, even room temperature can be too cold in winter.
I can't stand water. I have to put squash in it. That's pretty much all I drink most of the time unless I'm out for a meal or something. I do love a milkshake but I don't have them very often.
3 buckets of coffee in the morning
Wow! I bet that keeps you wide awake during the day!
